Daughtrys album 'LEAVE THIS TOWN' has a very subtle and plain cover but the image and pictures and text on the cover give a good representation of the albums name and music style of the songs.
The title of the album is placed centerally on the cover giving the impression that it is intended to be the focal point. The text is in an older style of text and is black and faded in some places this represents the bands genre because they are a band which produce older rock songs.
At the very top of the cover there is a very faint and almost transparent picture of the band looking out of the cover. From the placement of the image and the fade on it, it almost seems like daughtry are looking down over the town like angels.
The image of the empty strip of road is key in the significance of the album because it is named 'LEAVE THIS TOWN' and the empty strip of road makes us feel like we are alone stood at the end of the deserted place looking down the road and seeing noone.
The title being put in a black colour makes it stand out more than anything else on the cover and makes the viewers eyes focus straight on it.
I think the album cover works very well in representing the style of music and band aswell as advertising the album well and making it catch the viewers eye.

I realise, Jason, that you've had some time off recently, but two posts in four months is well below that what is expected of you. Your marks suffered last year from a lack of effort - I won;t let you make the same mistakes again. I'm expecting substantially more research on this page by the end of the week.
